With travel restrictions and the uncertainty that has occurred during the previous two years, many couples are now seeking wedding locations Stateside. Delsie is excited to announce that we are launching an exclusive Destination Wedding Planning Program in the Miami Beach area to bring our couples beachfront options with dreamy vacation vibes and the convenience of domestic travel. 

Miami Beach is known for its gorgeous white sand beaches and crisp turquoise waters. With an abundance of  venue profiles from mansions to 5-star resorts, Miami is sure to have a venue with an atmosphere to accentuate each couples’ unique wedding vision. Here, we share our favorite 11 Miami wedding venues, each with a unique atmosphere and each steeped in Miami’s rich culture; the foundation to create an unforgettable wedding experience.

Museums

Perez Art Museum 

The Perez Art Museum offers unique, contemporary architecture and beautiful views of Biscayne Bay. The venue allows the use of all spaces and galleries during your event time. Couples also are allowed time for additional photos, the use of a private bridal suite, and a one-year membership to the museum.

The Ringling

Located just outside of Miami Dade County, the Ringling is a museum that not only emphasizes the history of circuses, but also hosts a variety of rotating art museums. The estate is located in sprawling gardens including a circular rose garden dating to 1913. Weddings that are hosted at this venue have the opportunity to capitalize on the historic architecture and views of the Sarasota Bay. Weddings hosted here have the potential for a variety of creative atmospheres from whimsy and elegant to intimate and classic.

Vizcaya Museum 

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a Gilded Age estate turned museum. The National Historic Landmark has striking architecture throughout the grounds, and couples will have a beautiful backdrop whether they host their ceremony inside the estate, on the terrace, or in the garden. With its bayfront views and whimsical aesthetic, the Vizcaya Museum is perfect for couples seeking an elegant venue.

Estates, Mansions, and Clubs

The Versace Mansion 

The Villa Casa Cauarina, previously known as the Versace Mansion, is an iconic Asian-inspired estate in Miami Beach. It offers a serene atmosphere with Eastern Mediterranean architectural details and decor. The architecture and tropical gardens of the Versace Mansion offer the unique opportunity for dynamic lighting design to highlight the various elements of the estate that compliment your wedding vision. This venue offers the opportunity to create truly unique wedding designs and complement various wedding cultures.

The Temple House 

Art Deco meets modern design at the Temple House. The venue offers a bridal suite, unique interiors, and customization options that match your creativity. The permanent, 360-degree projection system in the ballrooms alone offers endless opportunities to add a design element to your event. The exterior terraces can offer a brief reprieve from the unique space for cocktail hour and exhibit a Mediterranean style.

Bath Club Miami

The Bath Club, Miami’s oldest membership club from the 1920s, offers a sophisticated, unique venue with various rooms. The iconic space has been revitalized but retains a whimsical, historic atmosphere in the now Mediterranean-style estate. The Club is surrounded by white sand beaches, where ceremonies can be held, and it offers 26,000 square feet of event space inside. When the venue was remodeled, some of the original architectural details were retained while other elements were updated to create a balanced modern interior with many warm accents. The result is a backdrop for events with various textures and depth in a timeless Mediterranean sanctuary.

Resorts and Hotels

St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort 

The 5-star St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort rises 27 stories about the white sand beaches of Miami Beach and is in close proximity to city amenities. The beachfront property consists of over 17,000 square feet of indoor event space in any of the nine event rooms. It can accommodate up to 510 in the largest of the event rooms. The Ocean Palm Court offers views of the ocean while the Astor Ballroom boasts high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and can accommodate up to 360 guests. With various complimentary details, exceptional service, and renowned seasonal culinary experiences, the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is the perfect venue for bespoke beachfront weddings in Miami.

Acqualina Resort 

As a Mediterranean-inspired 5-star hotel and the number one Luxury Beachfront Resort in the United States, Acqualina Resort offers numerous spaces for entertainment for your wedding weekend experience from the infinity pool overlooking the ocean to the palm tree terrace. We encourage our couples to choose locations like Acqualina that have a variety of spaces at or near their venue or choice in order to vary the backdrops for their wedding photos for their rehearsal dinner and welcome parties. Acqualina also offers brides the opportunity to partake in a customized facial prior to their wedding day at the spa.

The Biltmore Hotel - Coral Gables

The iconic Biltmore Hotel at Coral Gables sets an idyllic scene with historic charm and Mediterranean influence. The architecture is detailed from the chandeliers to the ornamental arches. With multiple interior and exterior spaces for your ceremony and reception, the Biltmore offers versatility with a uniform flow.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach 

The modern elegance of the Fontainebleau combines Art Deco glamour with the tropical turquoise ocean of Miami. The venue offers various spaces, each with beautifully detailed architecture and decor. Here, couples can choose to utilize the manicured lawns with views of the ocean, poolside decks, or graceful ballrooms.

Faena

Faena is a destination within a destination. The hotel is actually a district in Miami Beach with extraordinary  accommodations, direct beach access, a spa, and various entertainment options. The variety of smaller venues available on site, from theaters to speak-easy themed cocktail bars, are perfect for the other events you may wish to host during your wedding weekend. The Faena is notorious for its beautiful beachfront wedding ceremonies and Gilded Age reception sites. Not only is the Faena a stunning venue, but they also work to ensure that all weddings, from large gatherings to micro weddings, are customizable.
